In 1937, Prof Otto Bayer invented the world's first polyurethane coating in the research laboratories of Bayer AG, Germany. 77 years later, a green horn chemical engineer, Mr Jai (Polymer scientist) re-invented PU Concrete in India for the first time.

JL Floor Coatings was thus created in 2014 with a vision of MAKE IN INDIA and mission of Make for the WORLD with innovation and sustainability. From a 2500 sqm tin shed to the state-of-the art facilities at Rayachot in  Kadapa(AP), near Chennai and  Bengaluru , JL Floor Coating has grown to become a technology driven, Innovative and sustainable company in India. JL Floor Coating with the diverse technologies of polyurethane, epoxy, stands now at the forefront of innovative polymer technologies like polyurea.
